05VPN Quick Start

Follow the sequence: create an account, choose a plan, get your subscription, import it into the client, and verify the connection. Move to the next section after completing each stage—no prior knowledge of complex routing is needed.

90+ countries / 200+ routes Unlimited devices 30-day no-questions-asked refunds
Interface note: Button locations may vary slightly between operating system and client versions. If an entry has a different name, look for a menu with a similar meaning, such as “Subscription,” “Import,” “Update,” or “Connect.” Do not look for installation files outside the user panel.
PREPARE

Confirm Your Device and Usage Needs

Before you begin, confirm which device you will mainly use and whether your typical needs are light browsing, work, and AI Tools, or extended Streaming and large file downloads. This choice affects your plan, not the client import steps. 05VPN supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux; this page covers the most common Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS workflows.

If you switch between a computer, tablet, and other devices, you do not need to decide in advance which single device to keep. Plans support unlimited devices online at the same time, so one account can be configured on multiple devices as needed. On each device, open the download and subscription areas from its own user panel to keep client files and subscription details out of chat histories and shared documents.

This page covers the main path from a blank setup to a successful connection. Route types, Streaming region behavior, and deeper troubleshooting are covered separately in the Help Center and Complete Access Guide. Follow this page from start to finish first, then read the relevant details for your situation.

ACCOUNT

Create an Account and Open the Panel

Select “Start Free” on the page to open the account creation screen. Choose a username you can recognize, set a unique password, and confirm it. 05VPN does not require an email address; your username and password are the main credentials for accessing the user panel, so check that both entries match and store them in a trusted password manager.

After submission, the page opens the user panel. This is the workspace for managing plans, orders, subscriptions, and clients—not a marketing page in the public site. Sections such as “Account Overview,” “Download Client,” or “Purchase Plan” indicate that you are in the right place. When accessing the service from another device, use the login link on the right side of the website navigation to return to this panel.

If the username is already taken, return to the field and choose a more distinctive name. If the passwords do not match, follow the form prompt and confirm them again. Do not create multiple accounts to fix an input error, as plans and subscriptions may end up split between accounts and become harder to find. Once the account is created, choose a plan in the same panel.

PLAN

Choose a Plan Based on Your Data Needs

In the plan purchase area, first distinguish between monthly subscriptions and data packages. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date, and upgrades calculate the price difference based on the remaining days. Frequent users can choose an allowance based on video quality, file transfers, and usage frequency.

Data packages are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They remain valid until used and never expire. If you use the service infrequently, consumption varies, or you prefer not to reset your allowance each month, compare these packages closely. Before choosing, review the plan name, price, data allowance, and billing method, then continue to order confirmation.

The order page lists Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT as available payment methods. Choose a method you can complete, submit the payment as instructed, and wait for the order status to update. Avoid repeatedly going back or creating duplicate orders during payment. If the status does not change immediately, return to Account Overview to check the order record before taking further action.

05VPN offers 30-day no-questions-asked refunds. Once the plan takes effect, Account Overview will show data and subscription details, signaling that you can continue to the next step. If you are only comparing tiers, review the full details on the marketing site’s plans page, then return to the user panel to choose a plan.

SUBSCRIPTION

Get Your Subscription from Account Overview

After the order takes effect, open Account Overview and find the subscription section. It shows your current plan status, remaining data, and the subscription entry that clients need to read. The subscription link is not a public download URL or ordinary webpage content; it lets the client retrieve the routes available to your account, so import it only on your own devices.

After using the copy control in the panel, keep the page open while switching to the client to import the link. Do not edit any characters in the link or submit it to a public testing website. If the client says the content is invalid, return to Account Overview and copy it again; this is usually more reliable than checking every character manually.

When configuring a new device, log in to the user panel again to get the current subscription instead of forwarding it from an old device. This reduces the risk of incomplete copying, clipboard formatting changes, or accidental sharing. If the subscription was exposed publicly, stop forwarding it and contact support through the user panel ticket area.

Some clients support scanning or one-tap import, while others provide only a paste field. Regardless of the entry method, the source should be Account Overview or the client download area. Marketing pages do not provide real subscription links, and this guide does not display usable subscription values.

CHECK-IN

Import the Client for Your System

Before importing, open the “Download Client” area in the user panel. Choose the 05VPN client for your current operating system and install it using the method provided in the panel. The marketing site does not provide static installer links; the user panel is the correct source. Open the client after installation, then continue with the section for your system.

Windows

After opening the Windows client, go to subscription or configuration management. Add a new subscription, paste the content copied from Account Overview into the URL field, and give it a recognizable name. Save it, run an update, and wait for the route list to appear on the client’s main screen.

If the system asks for network permission, verify the application name and follow the system prompt. Return to the main screen, choose a route, and use the client’s connection switch. During the first run, avoid changing several advanced options at once; keep the defaults for verification, then adjust routing behavior according to the Help Center if needed.

macOS

In the macOS client, open the subscription or configuration menu and choose import from link. Paste the subscription content from Account Overview, save it, and run an update so the client can load the current routes. If a client icon appears in the menu bar, use it to quickly open the main window and connection controls.

If macOS asks to add a network configuration, follow its confirmation flow and grant permission; otherwise the client may show routes without establishing a system connection. After authorization, return to the client, choose the target route, and connect. Keep the client running during the first verification, and close the settings window only after confirming that the target website loads.

Android

In the Android client, look for subscription management in the side menu or on the home screen. Add a subscription, paste the content copied from the panel, save it, and tap Update. Once the routes appear, return home, choose the required region, and connect.

The first Android connection usually displays a system network connection confirmation. Allow the configuration in that dialog. If the connection is paused after switching to another app, check background activity and battery-saving settings and allow the 05VPN client to keep running when a connection is needed. Menu names vary by manufacturer; find the exact location in the Help Center by system issue.

iOS

First check the client download area in the user panel for the iOS access instructions, then follow them to get the appropriate client from the App Store. After installation, return to Account Overview to copy the subscription. In the client, choose Add Subscription, Import from Link, or a similar option, then paste and save it.

After updating the route list, choose the target region and connect. iOS will ask to add a network configuration; complete the confirmation in the system interface, after which the status bar or system settings will show the connection status. To switch routes later, usually return to the client and choose another route—there is no need to add the subscription again.

Import check: If routes appear by region after saving, the client has read the subscription successfully. If the list is empty, first check the plan status in Account Overview, then copy the subscription again and run an update.

Choose a Route and Verify the Connection

After the subscription updates successfully, choose a region based on the service you want to access. In general, if the service targets a particular region, prioritize a route in that same region; for everyday browsing, you can start with a nearby region. Connect in the client, wait for the status to change from Connecting to Connected, and then open the target website or app.

Do not rely only on the client switch when verifying the connection. Refresh the page that previously failed to load, then open a new page and check whether content continues loading. If the service has an account region setting, make sure it matches the selected route; a successful connection does not automatically change your account or payment region.

When watching Streaming content, first open the catalog and confirm that the region is correct, then start playback. If the catalog is correct but playback is unstable, return to the client and try another route in the same region. With AI Tools, first confirm that both the sign-in page and conversation page load normally before starting a long session, so you do not repeatedly submit content while the connection is still unstable.

After verification, the client will retain your subscription and route list. Future use usually requires only opening the client, updating the subscription, choosing a route, and connecting. Your plan data is shown in the user panel: monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date, while data packages remain available until the allowance is used and never expire.

ASSISTANCE

Troubleshoot Connection Issues in Order

If the client shows no routes, first check whether the plan is active in the user panel. Then return to Account Overview, copy the subscription again, and update it. If routes appear but will not connect, stop the current connection, switch to another route in the same region, and reconnect. This helps distinguish a subscription-reading issue from a route-selection issue.

If the client shows Connected but the target page is unchanged, fully close the target app or browser page and reopen it so stale connection cache does not remain visible. You can also temporarily stop other apps that modify system network settings, ensuring that only the 05VPN client manages this connection.

For specific issues such as Android background suspension, macOS network permissions, Windows import failures, or iOS system configuration prompts, visit the Help Center and browse by category. To understand Streaming regions, the relationship between account and payment regions, or different route types, read the Complete Access Guide. These topics are not expanded here so the main setup path stays focused.

If you still cannot identify the issue after following the steps above, log in to the user panel and open the ticket area. Describe your operating system, whether the issue occurred during import or connection, and the steps you have already tried. A clear description of where the problem occurs is more useful than simply writing “it does not work.” Do not include the complete subscription content before submitting.
